Geotechnical Testing

We have a modern, state of the art selection of testing equipment.
  • Probing to 2m depth is by using a light 9kg dynamic cone penetrometer.
  • Probing to 15m is by using a heavy-duty probe via a Dando Terrier.
  • Borehole work to up to 20m depth using our trailer mounted auger machine.
  • MASW seismic imaging is useful, for imaging to 100m depth. This would be our most precise, economical test method, once the test depth exceeds 3metres, and most suited to the establishment of the geotechnical model for a site as required by AS1726-2017.
  • Our reports include soil testing, geotechnical investigations, slope risk assessment, operational works and earthworks designs.
