James Tayler

Graduating from QUT in 1976, senior engineer James Tayler has operated as a geotechnical, structural, and civil engineer on the Gold Coast for over thirty years.A chartered civil engineer with Engineers Australia, and an RPEQ, he has worked on a wide variety of government, residential, and industrial projects and has pioneered the use of seismic in the Australian domestic and commercial market. Using his thirty years of engineering experience to inform his expertise in cutting edge technology, James speaks at conferences both locally and internationally to lead the industry standard in seismic subsurface imaging. James volunteers in the local community and enjoys spending time with his family.

Jeremy Fredericks

Jeremy Fredericks completed his Bachelor of Civil Engineering in 2003. After graduation, he began his career in the graduate program at the Department Of Main Roads, and has subsequently worked as a structural design engineer, project engineer and works supervisor. Having recently returned to university to complete his Masters in Structural & Geotechnical Engineering at Griffith University, Jeremy currently consults at Earthsolve and specialises in applying geophysical methods to solve difficult geotechnical problems. He has a passion for implementing cutting edge technology and techniques to everyday engineering problems, and believes that there are many geophysical methods that can be applied by geotechnical engineers which can make their job easier & more effective. Like James, Jeremy also attends and presents at numerous geophysical and geotechnical conferences throughout Australia and the world each year.
